I am starting this group in hopes of it becoming very successful. I attempted to find a group that was dedicated to helping animals and had no luck. My main purpose would be helping rescue shelters by supplying food, etc. I've never done anything like this before but would imagine if the right members joined here we could make a difference.

I have a Dachshund that meets a lot of other Dachshunds at all the parks we frequent. Boston and I thought it would be fun to get all the Doxies together for a play date and the humans could socialize and exchange info. We welcome other types of dogs to join us, too! UPDATE- 12/2009............Boston got a baby brother. Another rescue Doxie, we named Peanut. They love each other already!
