Garland Pawsibilities (Garland Bark Park) was originally established in 2005 to garner public support for the building of an off lead enclosed dog park for the northeast Dallas County area. Interest for a fenced park wained as the City would not committ land for a park right away..but instead of doing away with GBP, the volunteers wanted to continue working with the City Shelter to help get as many dogs and cats adopted as possible. Harp Seals DFW was formed in August of 2011 to advocate for the complete end of the brutal and senseless slaughter of harp seal pups on Canada's Atlantic coast. We believe that global change starts with local action and are committed to protesting Canada's fisheries industry and the Canadian government until this inhumane practice ends once and for all.

We are looking for people that enjoy wine tasting and love to discover new wines. We feature many small production wines. Our facility can host events from 10 people to 300 people. We also offer open sampling on Saturday from 1-4 PM. If you are a wine lover and like to try new and different wines - please join our group.

We will be holding various social functions at locations in the Dallas area. We will also do some fundraising to pay the Meetup fees and donate to local shelters and rescue groups. Meet with local dog trainers and dog guardians to learn new tips on training your dog all while walking around the lake. Combine your exercise, your dog’s exercise all while having fun, meeting new friends (human and canine) and learning new training techniques each time. All dogs welcome, must be on a leash.
